Webinar on Interfaith marriages - Challenges and reconciliation

Namaste,
We have organised an unmissable webinar on interfaith marriages:

On Sunday, 24th May 2026 12 pm to 2 pm (AEST)

There is something for everyone in this Webinar. Whether you are a parent of teenagers, someone approaching marriageable age, a marriage celebrant, Hindu priest, a chaplain, a Hindu community leader or a member, you must participate in this, so that you step forward with your eyes open and also be able to guide others. High school students can attend this too.

According to data collected, 40% of Hindu Americans enter interfaith marriages. Similar data is not available for Australia yet. In a diverse and globalised world, conversations around interfaith marriages should be held early in families and the community to make people aware about the challenges and what to be prepared for. Views on this matter may be shaped by personal experiences but it is important to distinguish between individual perspectives and informed, research-based understanding—especially when guiding a community.

Dr Dilip Amin will be live with us from the US. He brings decades of research, study, and data to this discussion. Talking to him is a rare opportunity. This talk is not about promoting or denouncing interfaith marriages, since they are happening all over the world. The question whether such marriages should happen is not in our hands, but as a community, how we respond will be shaped by our knowledge and preparedness and foresight. It will strengthen our community’s ability to navigate modern realities while remaining rooted in dharma.

Please register early and send the link to friends and family anywhere in the world. https://forms.gle/919VD4mqH7whRgeK7

Please share this widely as we depend on leaders to disseminate information among the larger community.

Thank you for your support.

Warm regards,
