Contribution for Religious Activities & Rituals

HTCC is an organisation run by the community for the community and with your generous contributions. It is facilitating Hindu religious and ritual activities at the Temple or at Devotees’ places and expects donations/contributions for specific purposes.
The recommended donations/contributions for personal rituals or offerings are for your preparation and booking of Punditji.
Please note: Punditji’s Dakshina is not included in the following recommended contributions.

How to pay:

Payment is required and a copy of payment receipt must be sent to the treasurer at

Shivalingam Project

The Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre (HTCC) is blessed to announce a sacred initiative: For the first time in Australia, 1008 Shivalingams will be established in our temple.

HTCC Membership

If you wish to renew your membership or become a member, please contact secretary@htcc.org.au and or any committee member.  New membership applications will be considered in committee meeting and as soon the memberships are approved, members are informed of the outcome and records are updated in the Membership Register.

HTCC requests all existing annual members to renew their membership prior to expiry of previous year term. We encourage all the HTCC (non-member) devotees to become financial member and support the HTCC in its activities.

Those who paid their annual membership between 1 June and 31 May have till 31 May to renew their membership. All those who have paid their annual membership after 31 May of previous calendar year but before 31 May of current calendar year will be eligible to vote in the upcoming AGM. Those who become members after 31 May of this calendar year will  not be eligible to vote in upcoming AGM.

Panditji Acharya Prakash Pandey

Pt Prakash Pandeyji has 15 years experience in Karmakand, Pooja path and various other ceremonies and can sing bhajans and play Harmonium.

Panditji’s Educational Achievements:

  • Acharya in Shastriya Vyakarana from Sampurnanand Sankrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi.
  • Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.) from Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanksrit Vidya Peeth, Katwariya Sarai, Delhi.
  • M.A. in Sanskrit from Delhi University.
  • Shastriya in Vyakarana from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansathanam, Delhi.
  • Uttar Madhyama from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansathanam, Delhi.
  • Poorva Madhyama from Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi

Panditji Acharya Prakash Pandey, from Ranikhet, joined the temple in the month October 2013.

In addition to his educational achievements Pt Prakash Pandeyji has been awarded various prizes at top levels e.g. 1st 2nd and 3rd in Sanskrit Quiz Competitions, Vedic Singing Competition and Vedic Hymns by Delhi and other universities.
