We are looking forward to welcoming you to the upcoming festival at our temple. However, we have received serious concerns regarding parking from our neighbours and the ACT government.
It has been reported that some attendees have been parking irresponsibly, including but not limited to:
• Blocking driveways of neighbouring residences.
• Parking on private property without permission.
• Violating ACT parking regulations on surrounding streets.
We have been warned that the ACT government will take strong action against vehicles parked illegally in the vicinity of the temple. This may include fines and other enforcement measures.
We understand the challenges of finding parking during large gatherings, but we must respect our neighbours and adhere to ACT parking rules.
Therefore, we urge all attendees to:
• Park responsibly and legally in designated parking areas.
• Avoid parking on private property or blocking driveways.
• Familiarise yourself with and adhere to all ACT parking regulations.
• Consider alternative transportation, such as public transport, carpooling, or walking, if possible.
• Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbours.
We kindly request everyone to take personal responsibility for their parking. Your cooperation is crucial to maintaining good relations with our neighbours and avoiding any enforcement actions from the ACT government.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
