| This is our regular newsletter. The contents of this newsletter are diverse. Shanti reports the activities of the HTCC; contains the dates of important Hindu festivals; financial accounts; reports on activities of interest, taking place in the ACT-NSW region, to our members. Shanti invites news items from all the kindred organisations in Canberra. Through the medium of Shanti, HTCC has started an effort to form a centre of Hindu activities in Canberra. Shanti is an outgrowth, of previous newsletters in circulation before July 2006, as a reflection of the growth and the definite shape the organisation has taken. We hope that the present form of Shanti will grow and change as the activities and the needs of the Hindu community in Canberra change. |
